For the first time since 2014, women will be represented on the Buffalo Common Council. On Election Day, Leah Halton-Pope and Zeneta Everhart won seats in the Ellicott and Masten Districts respectively and will assume office in January.
Two new voices in the 9-member chamber will be a significant change for the Common Council, and Everhart and Halton-Pope will have a major impact on the direction of the City.
Join the BNP for a Capital Conversation to meet Buffalo’s newest elected leaders. At this event, you will learn the backgrounds of each candidate, their goals for their districts, and their vision for the City. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with Buffalo’s newest policymakers.
Complimentary event for invited BNP Members
