The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is proud to launch the new Higher Education Industry Leaders Forum in 2026; a dedicated space for higher education leaders to come together, exchange ideas and help shape the future of talent, workforce development and regional collaboration across Buffalo Niagara.
Thank you to our strategic partners, Niagara University and University at Buffalo, for helping launch this important new initiative.
Unlike a traditional presentation-based program, the Higher Education Industry Leaders Forum will be structured as an interactive group discussion, encouraging participants to share challenges, opportunities and ideas with fellow leaders from across the region. Discussions will focus on some of the most pressing issues facing higher education and workforce development today, including:
• Building stronger workforce pipelines between higher education and employers
• Retaining students and young professionals within the Buffalo Niagara region
• Opportunities for collaboration between institutions, businesses and community organizations
